Susan Braumberger
39 Years - Swim Instructor - Lifeguard - Personal Trainer - Ontario

It’s Wonder Woman... No it’s a mom of 2.... no wait, even better...it’s both... It’s Susan Braumberger!

Maybe the outfit had something to do with it, but  whatever it was Susan suddenly demonstrated superpowers and skills that were never seen before on the Figure stage!  Amidst all the applause were definite gasps as this Wonder Women hit each move with seeming perfection!  It’s not easy to believe that Susan once battled low self esteem!

Paula Ryff

30 Years - Professional Ballet Dancer - Pilates Teacher - Holistic Nutritionist

Having once performed with the National Ballet, Paula has always loved performing and being in the limelight so taking to the FAME Stage was the perfect next step.

Wendy Carvalho-Ashby
33 Years - Doctor of Chiropractic - Alberta

When asked what made her decide to compete, Wendy’s response was simple “LOVE IT!”.  Her dedication to fitness and health and the fact that both her husband (fellow FAME Pro) Kevin Ashby and l’il sis (one of FAME’s newest Pros) Nicole Carvalho both partake in the journey alongside her make it all that much more inspiring!

FIGURE - PRO SHOW - 4th Place: Dena Anne Weiner
45 years - California - Owner of Mortgage Banking Corporation

Having competed for the last 14 years and with 79 shows under her belt, Dena definitely “walks the walk” and now plans to also “talk the talk”.   She is currently transitioning over to become a motivational speaker for corporations and youth!  She has always been a competitive athlete and continued even after she had children (they are now teenagers). By doing so she became their positive role model and now it’s time she further inspires others as well.

Valerie David
23 Years -  Montreal, Quebec

Valerie is a kinesiologist, dancer actor and motocross racer!   Her claim to ‘FAME’ came at FAME East when her and boyfriend (Trainer Yannik Morin - who also competes in bobsledding at the Olympics ) won the Fit Duos Routine competition!  She thoroughly enjoys competing and plans to continue purely because of the amount of ‘FUN’ that has been added into her life!   Congratulations Valerie!

Linda Roberts
44 Years - Cancer Survivor!
Mom of 2 - Medical Transcriptionist

Linda won over cancer 4 years ago and now live life to its fullest!  “Life shrinks or expands in porportion to one’s courage”.  She loves new challenges and says competing makes her “feel like anything is possible”.

Markeeta Maletz
32 Years - Australia  - Heavy Mobile Equipment Operator

“I absolutely love the challenge and discipline of pushing my body to the next level”   With her mom there in the audience (all the way from Australia), Markeeta truly shone on stage.   A big thank you goes out to trainer Rose Romero and her hubby who stayed back home.

30 Years - Personal Trainer

As if getting popped the big question on centre stage during the opening number of the big World Championship event that is being broadcast live around the world, isn’t enough, Eva then went on to win Pro Status!  Seems like the FAME Worlds Weekend was a huge success for you!  Congratulations to you and James!

Sheila had no intention of competing until others, who saw her physique, encouraged her to go for it. With a love of for all kinds of sports (including extreme skiing and climbing), Sheila is loving all of her stage time as is evidenced by by the huge grin she is ALWAYS wearing!
