The FAME Bikini Model Search at Bodybuilding.com's Boise Fit Expo was a great success!!!   The venue was packed and the girls all looked spectacular!  Who would have ever thought Boise, Idaho could be so much fun!  Click link



The night's big winner (including $500 cash and silver WNSO necklace) was Jaquelyn Kay Roberts who immediately attracted the attention of all the judges and the entire club as soon as she stepped on stage.   Having started competing in 2005 Jackie is a newbie to the FAME Stage but since 'the feeling of motivation and dedication it requires to compete makes me feel like superwoman!" you can be assured you'll see more of Jackie.  In fact, after this win Jackie is one of FAME's newest PROs and will be making her debut as a Pro at the FAME World Championships & PRO Showdown this June (Toronto).  Already a magazine cover model (she was featured on Oxygen in Jan 2008), a sponsored athlete with Optimum Nutrition and American Bodybuilding; and now a FAME Pro, we're sure that her desire to one day 'look back upon my life and smile because I did everything I ever wanted'  is more than going to be fulfilled!  Congratulations from everyone at FAME and Bodybuilding.com!






First runner up was the beautiful Mariah Miller who was actually born and raised in Bodybuilding.com's home town of Boise, Idaho!  At age 27, this surgical assistant loves the challenge of pushing herself just to get into competition shape.   Obviously the challenge paid off for both her and her trainer, Jenny Forsey, as she left with the 2nd place honors.   Mariah thanks her sister and best friend Rea for helping to keep her focused on her end goal, rather than on her second hobby, that of collecting knives!   Congratulations Mariah!  We hope to see more of you on the FAME Stage!








Hannah Rose Luna, a first time competitor, came in as the 2nd runner up and walks away with the 3rd place win!  Having always been thin, Hannah decided that she wanted to add a bit more tone to her frame now that she is interested in pursuing a modeling career.  She immediately started eating right and working out and saw changes both in her physique and in her mind.  Feeling much more confident with her new self, Hannah said that just stepping on the competition stage is something that made her very proud.  Walking away with the win just clinched it and proves to Hannah that  'You are whoever you choose to be.  Never let anyone tell you you're not good enough"






Also on hand was the spectacular Ashley Taylor who loves being in the spotlight, which is great, since she's also actually performed with Reba McIntyre in concert!   Aside from shining on stage, Ashley is a full time tattoo-toting mother, wife, student and accountant who enjoys motivating others and encouraging them to stand up for what they believe.   A big thank you goes out to her friends and family for all their support.





Jessica Rowan a personal trainer and yoga instructor who loves fitness, uses the competition stage to help further her name in the industry she loves.  "Competitions are a great way to meet new friends who are also interested in fitness. Plus I love the journey".  She is a young (23) mother of a 3 year old girl and hails from Vermont. Her philosophy is "Go Hard or Go Home".









The very bubbly Sarah Kelsch took to the stage again after placing as 5th runner up at the 2007 Maggie Diubaldo FAME Classic.   Wanting to transform her physique to one that would exemplify health and fitness, Sarah actually lost over 40 lbs to get to the stage!  Now, with her newfound body and love of training Sarah actually went on to become a personal trainer to help inspire others.  A mom of 4, Sarah includes her children and husband in the list of people she would like to thank, and of course her coach, Krissy Wolfe.










Up next is first time competitor Skye Clark who had never even seen a competition before.  She had only seen the athletes in the magazines and decided to come to the event to see what it's all about.  What better way, then to get up on stage!  Supercharged from the weekend, Skye is even more motivated than ever before.  Watch for her next in the Fitness Model Search.  A big thank you goes out to her husband, Kade!
